About Us

Welcome to 100+ Women Who Care Des Moines!

100+ Women Who Care Des Moines is a group of local women who are passionate about supporting local causes in the Greater Des Moines community.

Our mission is to help our community by finding 100 or more women to each contribute $50-100 four times a year to give $40,000+ annually to local charities. Our members come from all walks of life and different financial backgrounds.

We are a chapter of the 100 Who Care Alliance. The grassroots nature of the Alliance allows our Des Moines chapter to operate independently in order to best meet a current need in our community. We like to keep it simple: we have no bank account, no operating budget, and no skin in the game. Our chapter gives a platform to local women to present on behalf and donate to area charities in a pressure-free environment. 100% of contributions stay in the Greater Des Moines community.

As individuals we felt that it was difficult to make a very large impact, but as a group we have the ability to contribute to the growth of our community in ways that we never before thought possible.
